What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Lead Teacher position at Little Jewels Learning Center?
Little Jewels Learning Center seeks a full time Lead Teacher for our Infant room. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for the following
- Prepare and follow weekly lesson plans
-Maintain program site by following a cleaning checklist
-Communication with families and other staff
-Care for children including social emotional care, assistance with self help skills, serving food, and more
-Completing a CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of being hired
-Follow DCFS guidelines and Little Jewels policies
-Little Jewels offers a 401K, vacation, personal days, and paid holidays
Lead teacher must have one of the following:
* 60 college credit hours with a least 3 in Early Childhood or Child Development
* 30 college credit hours with at least 3 in Early Childhood or Child Development and at least 1500 hours works in an Early Childhood Setting
* A Current CDA
Pay: From $19.15 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.0 per week
