Position Summary
The Teacher is responsible for supporting the daycare's mission by providing high-quality care, maintaining a safe environment, complying with all applicable regulations, and working collaboratively with staff and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Plans and implements age-appropriate curriculum.
· Provides direct supervision of children.
· Maintains positive classroom management.
· Completes required documentation.
· Communicates with families.
· Ensures health and safety standards.
· Supports inclusion and development.
· Participates in training.
· Maintains confidentiality.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred where applicable).
- Meet all state licensing requirements.
- Pass required background checks.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, stand, sit on the floor, move quickly to supervise children, and work indoors and outdoors.
Work Environment
Fast-paced childcare environment requiring continuous interaction with children, families, and staff while maintaining safety and professionalism.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
