Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will engage with toddlers and young children through play-based learning, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a love for learning.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development.
• Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Facilitate engaging activities that encourage exploration and learning in a safe environment.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment.
• Document children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.

Requirements

• Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Experience in caregiving or nannying is beneficial.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to toddlers' needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children and parents.
• A genuine love for working with children and contributing positively to their growth.
