Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher Job Overview
Little Hands College is looking for full-time passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young children. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in preschool-aged children. All teacher must have their CPR and First Aid up to date as well as their immunization records (including their MMR).
Infant/Toddler/Preschool Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development at home.
- Provide individualized support to children as needed, including those requiring early intervention services.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Infant/Toddler/Preschool Experience
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tutoring methods, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies is beneficial.
- Knowledge of child development principles, including toddler care and preschool curriculum design.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
