Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher’s Assistant to support our lead teachers in providing high-quality care and educational activities for children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is patient and flexible, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Assist with meals, snacks, and nap time routines
- Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience working with young children (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
