Delivery Driver Associate

We are looking for someone reliable who does not mind working flexible hours during weekdays, between the hours of 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Besides delivering food, this job also requires shipping our food in boxes via FedEx (see below for more information):

Delivery Driver:

• Must have own car and drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to drive and deliver our food to customers within 1 - 20 miles of our kitchen in Duarte. Uber/Lyft experience preferred.
• Must have own phone with GPS.

• Able to use smart phone for web-based customer notifications.

• Needs to be able to be personable when dropping off food.
• Must be able to lift more than 20 pounds

• Typical delivery hours 2-5:30 PM a few days during the week.

Shipping Food:

• build boxes
• package our food items in a cushioned and safe way with ice so they will get to our customers in good condition
• create FedEx labels on the computer in our office and send out tracking numbers.
• take the boxes to our local FedEx office before 4 pm

History: Established in 2012. John Tanner started Little Green Forks after his recovery from the heart attack that nearly killed him. Upon reading "How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" by Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, he decided to eat a healthy whole food, plant-based, no-added-oil diet that reversed his heart disease and saw all of his health markers improve. He knew his life depended on eating this way, so he started Little Green Forks to provide healthy meals for his family and employees at Tanner Research in Duarte. This soon grew to providing meals for individuals beyond Tanner Research, and the business has continued to expand each year since it began.
