Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency with every order
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and provide friendly service that encourages repeat visits
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety regulations
• Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
• Assist with food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy environment for both guests and staff

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing customer orders
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and create a positive dining experience
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
• Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
