Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Support children with special educational needs through tailored activities and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to schedules.
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents or guardians to discuss children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor progress and inform lesson planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in childhood development, classroom management, and childcare techniques.
- Willingness to teach Christian principles. Christian background is encouraged but not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development
- Experience with classroom management and lesson planning tailored for infants through preschool-aged children.
- Background in special education or experience supporting children with diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is preferred.
