Preschool Teacher
We are looking for team members to join our team at Little Fox Haven! We are a licensed childcare and preschool.
Duties:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Teach basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote gross motor skills
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide individualized support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment with the support of our team and other staff members
- Ensure the well-being and welfare of all children in our childcare
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is ideal, but we are willing to train and work with the right candidate!
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy
