What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Little Fox Child Development Center?
We are seeking enthusiastic educarers (educator and caregiver) to guide a classroom of young children in a variety of educational activities, including arts and crafts, free play, storytelling, and class outings. Your prime responsibility is to teach them the age-appropriate fundamental concepts they need to know for preschool/pre-k/kindergarten.
Patience, compassion, and energy are all vital qualities of a successful educarer. You should be capable of inspiring, encouraging, and developing young children, each of whom will have different abilities, challenges, and personalities. The top candidates will also have a creative mindset and good administrative skills, in order to plan and execute lessons which are memorable, innovative, and achieve the desired learning outcomes.
Requirements: Minimum of High School Diploma. Past experience in child care preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person!
*Assist where needed (class, playground, substituting in different age rooms). Attend to children's basic needs by feeding, dressing and toilet training them. Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills. Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order. Willing to engage with children on their level. Job will involve going outdoors, lifting, cleaning, feeding, cross-training for all areas in the center.
