We are hiring a Daytime Coffee Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy, high-volume café. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on team supervision, customer experience, and operational excellence during morning and daytime hours.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day café operations during morning/day shifts
- Supervise, lead, and support baristas and kitchen staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest issues
- Maintain quality, cleanliness, and speed-of-service standards
- Oversee daily staffing needs, breaks, and shift coverage
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching
- Assist with inventory control and ordering
- Handle cash, POS systems, and daily reports
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Communicate clearly with ownership and management
Job Requirements
- 2 years café, coffee shop, or restaurant management experience
- Experience building and managing staff schedules
- Ability to plan labor efficiently for high-volume service periods
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Coffee and espresso knowledge preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to work early mornings and weekends as needed
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
