Painter

Job Summary
Little Feet is looking for a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects in the San Francisco peninsula. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction practices. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a valid drivers license and personal transportation to travel between projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
• Mix paints and match colors according to specifications.
• Conduct renovations and restoration work on various structures, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Collaborate with construction teams to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks related to painting and finishing work.
• Utilize basic math skills for estimating materials required for each job.
• Execute plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as part of the finishing process.
• Assist in fixture installation and other maintenance person tasks as needed.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential painting projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices including masonry, concrete finishing, and renovation techniques.
• Familiarity with color theory and the ability to mix paints accurately.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively.
• Knowledge of plastering techniques and trim carpentry is a plus.
• Previous experience on construction sites is preferred.
• Basic math skills for estimating material quantities are essential.
• A background in industrial painting or welding is advantageous but not required.

The Position

We’re looking for a candidate with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation (truck, a plus). Hand tools and a drill set are required. Any large power tools will be provided by the company.

The Location

Little Feet is based in San Francisco, Bay Area, CA. Since our service area covers SF, Pacifica, South SF, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay, and Hillsborough, it is important you have the ability to drive from project to project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
