Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Afternoon Assistant Teacher (Tuesday/Wednesday-Friday) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with child supervision, and help create a nurturing environment where young children can thrive.

* Hours are 12:30-5:30 (Tuesday or Wednesday- Friday)*

Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood development and learning activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and engagement at all times.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills.
- Help with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and assisting with nap times in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety.
- Follow mandated reporting laws and health protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure children's well-being.
- Candidate to assist with lunch breaks for full-time staff, bathroom duties, and post-lunch kitchen cleanup.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required after hiring.
