What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Little Falls Preschool?
Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Job Description:
- Receptionist duties (greeting parents/children, taking calls and responding to email inquiries, providing information, taking messages etc.)
- Receiving, Sorting and forwarding incoming mail and deliveries
- Able to support teachers directly in the classroom or where ever needed.
- Scheduling appointments for school tours, crafting memos and notices, emailing families.
- Adhering to School and State policies and procedures, as well as Staff Handbook
- Assisting in creating and maintaining an aesthetically attractive environment.
- All other duties as deemed necessary by the Director to ensure smooth day to day operation of the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Office/Customer Service/Receptionist experience
- Demonstrated maturity and a sense of personal responsibility
- Ability to prioritize, focus on detail, multitask, be very organized and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a highly collaborative emphasis
- Strong computer skills
- Familiarity with Google Calendar for scheduling appointments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Display integrity, punctual, motivated, problem solver, an excellent work ethic, honor families and school confidentiality
- MS Office Skills which include Word, Excel, Power Point.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: In person
