Employer: Little Falls HospitalTitle: Clinical Laboratory Technologist I Location: 140 Burwell Street, Little Falls, NY 13365Job Duties:

• Performing clinical laboratory procedures and examinations and any other tests or procedures conducted by a clinical laboratory, including maintaining equipment and records, and performing quality assurance activities related to examination performance, and which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility, as determined by the department.
• Performing microbiological, virological, serological, chemical, immunohematological, hematological, biophysical procedures and examinations and any other test or procedure conducted by a laboratory as defined by title five of article five of the public health law, on material derived from the human body which provides information for the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of a disease or assessment of a human medical condition.
• Performing blood banking which includes the collection, processing, storage and/or distribution of human blood, blood components or blood derivatives.
• Providing prompt and accurate laboratory test results.
• Preparing products for transfusion in support of patient care.
• Correlating knowledge and understanding of theory to independently solve problems and answer questions.
  
  

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or Medical Laboratory Science.1 year of clinical laboratory experience.License from NYS ED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or licensure eligible with a limited permit or limited license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and weekends as business needs require.The salary range for this position is $72,051.20-$108,056.
