What are the responsibilities and job description for the About Us position at Little Falls Hospital?
As a CT Technologist you would provide prompt, efficient, courteous services to patients while taking high-quality radiographs. You must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. You must also have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements and provide the care needed.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, required.
Experience:
- Previous CT experience, required.
- Previous experience with P.A.C.’s and R.I.S., preferred.
Licensure/Certificates:
- Current NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
- American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT/ARRT CT) certification, required within one year of hire.
- BLS, required within 30 days of hire.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Human Cross Sectional Anatomy and Physiology
- Excellent motor, hand, eye, coordination and manual dexterity required.
- Ability to handle and operate equipment, read, retains and comprehends written and oral medical and technical information.
- Ability to build rapport quickly, develop trust, sustain working relationships, and represent LFH positively in internal and external meetings is required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, required.
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills, required.
