Join Our Team as a Lead Teacher for our School Age Summer Camp Program!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team at Little Endeavors Child Development Center in Ankeny, IA for our School Age Summer Camp program. As the lead teacher, you will play a key role in providing a fun and educational experience for children ages 5-12 during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities for our School Age Summer Camp program.
- Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum and programming.
- Have fun and go on Field trips with hands on experiences
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with school age children.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Background in early childhood education or related field preferred.
