Childcare Closing Staff
Help children finish their day feeling safe, cared for, and ready to go home.
We’re looking for a warm, dependable Childcare Closing Staff member to join our team. You’ll help care for children through the afternoon, welcome families at pickup, and get the classrooms ready for the next day. If you enjoy supporting children and being part of a caring team, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe, caring, and age-appropriate way
- Follow classroom routines and help children wind down before pickup
- Greet families and share helpful updates about their child’s day
- Keep accurate attendance and pickup records
- Clean, sanitize, and tidy classrooms, toys, and shared areas
- Complete closing checklists and help secure the center
- Follow center policies, safety procedures, and applicable childcare licensing requirements
What we’re looking for
- A patient, attentive, and reliable team member
- Someone who communicates warmly with children, families, and coworkers
- Comfort completing cleaning and closing duties
- A willingness to follow safety procedures and classroom routines
- Childcare experience is welcome; we’re happy to discuss training and qualifications for the role
Schedule: Monday through Friday, either 3:00–6:00 p.m. or 4:00–6:00 p.m. The center closes at 6:00 p.m.; no evening or weekend shifts.
