Job Overview: We are seeking a Full-time Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves providing a nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. The ideal candidate will have a passion for child development, experience working with children, and a strong understanding of educational best practices, including learning development and behavior management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment while gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting.
Duties
- Have fun with infants and toddlers through play and learning.
- Must love
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans focused on development tailored to early childhood education standards.
- Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a safe and engaging environment.
- Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
- Support classroom organization and maintenance of educational materials and supplies.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional development, literacy skills, and early numeracy concepts.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth classroom operations and effective communication with parents.
- Adapt activities for children with diverse needs.
- Assist in curriculum development efforts to enhance learning experiences across different programs.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar environments is highly preferred.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating flexibility as a floater across multiple classrooms.
