Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality standards are met
- Take food orders accurately using POS system and deliver orders promptly
- Handle cash transactions efficiently with cash handling skills and basic math proficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables or bar patrons while maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
- Experience working in the food industry with an emphasis on hospitality, and food service environments
