Pay Scale: $12.00 -$14.00 per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Transports students to and from school in a safe manner.
• Appropriately operates the vehicles and equipment.
• Obeys all traffic laws and transportation practices outlined in the Driver Handbook, Company Policy, and local ordinances.
• Observes all mandatory safety regulations and keep all emergency exits clear of obstructions.
• Effectively handles the vehicle and students in adverse weather conditions.
• Relates well to students and staff.
• Inspects the vehicle before and after each route or activity trip.
• Maintains vehicle in clean condition and informs the Director of any routine maintenance or repairs required.
• Adheres to district health and safety policies.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Part-time split shift position. We need someone that can transport children in the morning to school and pick them up in the afternoon, during the school year. Approx. 4 hours per day. In the Summertime, we will need someone that can assist with field trips 2x a week.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• 3 years prior professional driving experience
• Must be able to work as part of a team and get along with various personalities.
• Pass DHS Background check.
• Class F Endorsement
