Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Ensure the safety of the students you teach.
- Teach assigned curriculum.
- Communicate clearly with students goals, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to improve lesson quality and participate in ongoing training sessions
Requirements
- Demonstrated skills in sports-specific training instruction such as swimming, martial arts (e.g., Karate, Judo), cheerleading or climbing are advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively teach children and adults of diverse backgrounds
- Certification in AED operation and basic first aid; CPR certification is preferred or obtainable upon hire
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is desirable
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning environments
- Enthusiasm for working with students of all ages with patience, energy, and motivation
