What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool One on One Aide position at Little Discoveries Preschool?
MUST LOVE CHILDREN!!!!!
We're looking for a responsible, phenomenal Team member
Duties will include:
- Working with a special needs child one on one in a preschool setting
- Working with Teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Supporting children as a facilitator of learning throughout the day;
- Modeling positive and appropriate language and behavior.
- Assisting Teachers with classroom documentation.
- Communicating child concerns and family needs to Teacher and management
- Arriving to your class prepared, on time, and ready to help teach.
- MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK
- Set-up and oversee learning centers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of classroom space.
- Prepare materials and supplies;
- Assist children with bathroom needs
- Leading circle time, story time, and music sessions. Team Participation
- Actively participate in team planning and training Desirable Qualifications
- Caring, nurturing provider
- Team player – able to work as part of a teaching team
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
- ECE units a plus but not necessary
- Current vaccination / TB screening
- CPR / First Aid certification; (Current)
- Live scan clearance (Current)
- Mandated Reporter training completed (Current)
- Authorization to work in the US
Current Verification of job requirements prior to job offer
Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
