What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher position at Little Connections Child Care Center, Inc.?
Additional Requirements
- At least 18 years old, literate, high school diploma or its equivalent
- ECE classes and/or willing to further education toward bachelor degree if requested
Responsibilities (NOT LIMITED TO)
- Maintain a Christ-like behavior and professionalism, and interaction with staff, children, and families
- Adhere to all child care rules, regulations, and requirements
- Have a love for working with children
- Supervise children at all times
- Oversee assigned classroom, children, and material
- Manage classroom documents and children information
- Plan lessons, submit to administration in a timely manner, and execute appropriate themes, activities and lessons in the classroom. Bible lessons and prayer must be included in daily schedule and lessons
- Keep classroom clean, free of hazards, and safe
- Keep playground clean, free of hazards, and safe
- Communicating with families, staff, and administration
- Reporting suspected child abuse/neglect to administration and Child Protective Services
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping classroom and/or assigned area
- Attending all staff meeting, professional developments, in-service trainings, conferences, and any Little Connections event, unless otherwise, discussed and approved by administration
- Be accepting to take on other jobs and responsibilities to ensure that Little Connections is operating as normal as possible
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
