Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role is essential in assisting teachers with classroom management, curriculum implementation, and providing individualized support to students. Must be able to work either 8:00 am - 1:oo pm shift Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities that align with the curriculum.
- Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance, particularly for those with special needs.
- Help maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with students during activities, fostering their social and emotional development.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Must have reliable transportation
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
- Willing to be physically active and provide comfort care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age
- 18 years of age or older
