Overview: Little City Montessori is seeking a detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive Location Coordinator to support the Director of Operations with leading daily scheduling and facility management. This full-time role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day school operations, including building maintenance coordination and real-time schedule adjustments. The ideal candidate is a dependable, highly organized multitasker with strong ownership, capable of independently managing operational priorities while supporting overall school efficiency and quality. A commitment to education and maintaining an excellent school environment is essential for success in this role.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee daily arrival, departure, and after-care operations to ensure smooth student transitions.
- Review and complete daily, weekly, monthly, and ongoing operations team job duties.
- Maintain daily building readiness by walking the location, ensuring spaces are tidy, organized, and prepared
- Sweep outside walk areas 2–3 times per day.
- Communicate daily schedule changes to staff and update Brightwheel by 8:00 AM.
- Manage Brightwheel communications between teachers and families in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and maintain accurate Brightwheel child profiles, following up with families as needed.
- Serve as a floating teacher and secondary support resource to ensure classroom coverage and continuity when needed.
- Support incident report completion and ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Track key fobs, visitor access, and ensure all security protocols are followed.
- Conduct monthly classroom cleanliness and readiness checks.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and ongoing building upkeep, including HVAC, signage, QR codes, and repairs.
- Oversee school supply inventory, including ordering, restocking, and purchase order management.
- Manage and greet school visitors and specialists, ensuring proper clearance and adherence to protocols.
- Support the setup and breakdown of professional development days, school events, and on-site programming. This includes attendance for events occasionally held on evenings or weekends.
- Maintain and update family and operational spreadsheets and administrative tracking systems.
- Take ownership of the physical environment by continuously improving the organization, functionality, and aesthetics of the location.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of one year of experience, with exposure to an administrative function
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Tech-savvy, especially with Google Suite
- Able to lift to 30 lbs and move actively throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and legal work authorization
The start date is August 18, 2026. This is a 12-month, full-time position. Monday through Friday, 7:15am - 4:30pm (with a one-hour break). We offer a competitive hourly rate with benefits.
