Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician provides 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Sessions take place in the child’s home and approved community settings. This position is ideal for candidates interested in autism services, early intervention, behavioral health, or special education.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs developed by a BCBA
- Provide play-based, child-centered ABA sessions
- Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions
- Follow behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
- Collaborate with families and clinical supervisors
- Maintain client confidentiality and ethical standards
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience, education, and eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
- Previous ABA therapy or early intervention experience
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
- Availability for weekday daytime and early afternoon sessions
- Ability to sit on the floor, lift up to 40 lbs, and engage in active play
Schedule
- Part-time weekday availability required, Saturday sessions available. We are closed on Sundays.
