Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure quick and accurate transactions.
• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks.
• Manage customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation of all food handling areas.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Support team members in serving customers promptly, managing food service needs, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness and organization.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in food handling, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will help you succeed in this role.
• Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills are necessary for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Food safety management knowledge or prior restaurant experience will be advantageous but can be learned on the job.
• A background in the food industry, grocery store experience, or café work provides valuable insight into customer service and food preparation standards.

Pay: $8.50 - $9.00 per hour
