Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy with cash register operations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks like food prep, serving customers, and managing queues effectively

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in cashiering or retail math helps in managing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is highly valued
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can enhance your ability to prepare quality food quickly
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
