- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service.
- Manage waste disposal properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed to promote an eco-friendly environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for food service operations.
- Follow all food handling guidelines and safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued!
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
