Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and teens with autism. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans, teach life skills, and promote positive behavioral change. This role requires patience, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in-home, at school, or in community settings.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based interventions to support behavior change.
- Accurately collect real-time data on client progress and behavior goals using ABA software.
- Assist clients in improving independence and generalizing skills across environments.
Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in regular supervision with the BCBA to review progress and receive coaching.
- Maintain open communication with the BCBA, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in therapy.
- Educate and support caregivers on implementing ABA strategies in daily routines.
Technology & Compliance
- Use ABA data collection software (e.g., Passage Health, CR Essentials or Central Reach) to track client progress.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other digital tools for scheduling and documentation.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, BACB ethical standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to client locations.
- High school diploma or higher (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).
- Experience working with children, preferably children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with children and families.
- Ability to work independently while following structured treatment protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience as an RBT.
- Familiarity with ABA therapy principles and behavior intervention strategies.
- Experience with Passage Health for data collection and documentation.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus!
