Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and teens with autism. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans, teach life skills, and promote positive behavioral change. This role requires patience, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Direct Client Support

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in-home, at school, or in community settings.
  • Implement treatment plans designed by the BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based interventions to support behavior change.
  • Accurately collect real-time data on client progress and behavior goals using ABA software.
  • Assist clients in improving independence and generalizing skills across environments.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Participate in regular supervision with the BCBA to review progress and receive coaching.
  • Maintain open communication with the BCBA, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in therapy.
  • Educate and support caregivers on implementing ABA strategies in daily routines.

Technology & Compliance

  • Use ABA data collection software (e.g., Passage Health, CR Essentials or Central Reach) to track client progress.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other digital tools for scheduling and documentation.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations, BACB ethical standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to client locations.
  • High school diploma or higher (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).
  • Experience working with children, preferably children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with children and families.
  • Ability to work independently while following structured treatment protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience as an RBT.
  • Familiarity with ABA therapy principles and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Experience with Passage Health for data collection and documentation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus!
