Kitchen Aide/Housekeeping

Kitchen Aide--Long Term Care/Nursing Home kitchen and housekeeping experience necessary

Tasks include:

--Long Term Care/Nursing Home experience required

--Schedule: 2-3 days in kitchen and 2-3 days in housekeeping

-- doing all work in the kitchen following food safety regulations

-- preparing therapeutic diets

-- preparing foods of proper consistency

The ideal candidate ...

-- can supervise prep cooks, dishwashers, and other kitchen staff

-- is energetic, willing to learn, friendly and can multi-task

-- is flexible and can accommodate needs of our Residents as they arise

-- can work weekends as Little Brook is a 24/7 operation

-- has minimally one year kitchen experience and is ServSafe certified

Others tasks include:

-- prepare and serve appealing and tasty meals for nursing home Residents

-- clean-up after serving meals and prepare next meal

-- being Responsible for menu follow through, monitoring ingredient needs, cooking and

presenting appealing-looking meals, clean Residents' dishes, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

CDM Required

ServSafe certification required

Nursing Home / Assisted Living experience preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$15.49/hr to $20/hr depending on experience
