Key Responsibilities
- Start up, operate, and shut down wastewater treatment plant equipment
- Monitor processes and evaluate operational data
- Collect and analyze wastewater samples
- Inspect equipment and ensure proper operating parameters
- Maintain environmental and regulatory compliance
- Perform solids processing and incineration activities
- Handle chemicals safely and responsibly
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Missouri Class “D” Wastewater Operator Certification
- Must currently possess or obtain within 6 months of employment
- Missouri Class “C” Wastewater Operator Certification
- Must currently possess or obtain within 2 years of employment
- Certification must be maintained as a condition of employment
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
