SummaryLittle Blessings Preschool is looking for a fun, energetic assistant teacher to join our team! We believe children learn best through play and encourage play in our day-to-day activity planning. This position is part time in our Pre-K 3 room five days a week 8:30am-12:30pm! The assistant teacher is responsible for supporting the Lead Teacher with general supervision and management of children, assisting the teacher in providing a safe learning environment and implementing planned classroom activities to provide an educational, fun experience. Duties- Monitoring the students overall learning through and creating an environment to helpthem reach their maximum potential and gain self-confidence by modeling and fun.- Working in partnership with the Head Teacher to implement the annual curriculum whileleading indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.- Providing guidance around developmentally appropriate practices, age-appropriatemilestones, and willingness to be an integral part of a child’s healthy growth anddevelopment.- Assisting with coordinating special events to help build the school community such as:holiday celebrations, end of year programs, open houses, fundraisers, etc.- Attending monthly Staff MeetingsRequirements- High School Diploma and a minimum of 18 years of age.- Possess or willing to obtain required trainings, including but not limited to: First AidCertification, CPR, medication administration.BenefitsPaid holidaysPaid sick time Additional earning opportunities may be available through our summer camp program
