Our thriving childcare center is looking for a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Assistant Director to support our Director in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and staff.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Director in daily operations and administration of the center
- Support teachers and staff with scheduling, training, and classroom management
- Help maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
- Serve as a point of contact for parents and build strong relationships with families
- Participate in tours and support enrollment growth
- Promote a positive team culture and help resolve any conflicts or concerns
- Step into the Director role in their absence
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; degree in Early Childhood, Education, or related field preferred
- Experience in a licensed childcare center (2 years preferred)
- Leadership or management experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet state requirements for child care staff
