Duties
- Develop and implement innovative, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood standards.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and child welfare.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support positive conduct and social skills development among children.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instructional approaches accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's holistic development and well-being.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child progress reports, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Experience with classroom management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention programs.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring strategies, and lesson planning tools.
- Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers is a plus; certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
