Duties
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to promote safety and well-being
- Implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social skills development
- Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and play areas regularly
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Assist with classroom management by guiding behavior positively and using effective behavior management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to handle emergencies promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Adhering to company dress code policy
- No criminal background, must be able to pass a background check
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly desired to ensure quick response in emergencies
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and engaging them in age-specific activities
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with children’s families
- A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth while maintaining a lively and positive environment
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
