Reports to: Executive Chef
Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Manage kitchen staff and oversee the day-to-day operations of the deli, including food preparation and ensure that the recipes and food meets quality standards.

Assist with organizing inventory, storage and distribution and ensuring adequate levels are maintained based on the menu and market demand.

Oversee and ensure all staff are properly trained and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in cleanliness, organization, and food preparation areas.

Assist with training team members and maintain standards for preparation, portion, and prestation.

Ensure the safety operation of kitchen equipment, utensils, proper handling of heavy items, and hazardous materials.

Organize the day’s prepping for the cook’s line setup. Including but not limited to perform as a Lead Cook.

All other tasks deemed necessary by Executive Chef.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices.
- ServSafe Food Certification (preferred)
- Flexibility schedule, including weekends and holidays.
