Duties
- Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene routines for infants and toddlers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Support children with special needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and behavior management techniques
- Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures, to respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and support their individual needs
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routines and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
