Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves supporting children's developmental needs, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Candidates with background in classroom management, caregiving, or nannying are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children during activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and first aid procedures
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs of infants and toddlers
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area to promote a healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute developmental programs aligned with early childhood education standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support program hours
- Passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a positive learning environment
Pay: $13.73 - $14.50 per hour
