The Senior Quality Director will lead a global quality organization within a dynamic semiconductor business unit. This role is responsible for driving world-class quality standards across internal manufacturing plants, external fabrication partners, suppliers, and customer-facing operations. The position will oversee quality for internal production, global labs, new product development, supplier quality, and customer quality, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to a global quality organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute a global quality strategy aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
• Lead quality engineering initiatives to reduce RMA rates and improve customer satisfaction.
• Drive global lab performance and throughput optimization while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage geographically distributed technical teams including Product Quality and Supplier Quality.
• Drive quality risk assessments for new product launches and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and test engineering teams to embed quality in product development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and continuous improvement
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15 years of experience in quality leadership roles within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
• Proven track record of managing global teams and complex quality operations.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain quality, and customer quality requirements.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
