Supply Chain Specialist
The Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse and supply chain operations so the right products are available at the right time. This position is a hybrid of inventory analysis and procurement, with core responsibilities including cycle count management and verification of received goods. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, a natural problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to stay adaptable and composed under pressure.
- Tracking Shipments: Monitor incoming and outgoing products, ensuring stock levels are accurately maintained.
- Maintaining Records: Keep meticulous records to track inventory movements and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Identifying Issues: Identify discrepancies such as damaged goods or counts that do not add up, and resolve those issues promptly.
- Assist with updating and analyzing the costing of materials.
- Using Advanced Tools: Operate specialized software, scanners, and other technologies to manage inventory details in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with warehouse teams, delivery drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support a smooth logistics flow.
- Incoming Inspection and Quality Control: Evaluate incoming components and alert the purchasing team of any non-conforming components.
- Any other related tasks that may be assigned by upper management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in procurement, logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, procurement, purchasing, logistics, or a related operations role.
- Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems and intermediate skills in Excel and other office applications.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift boxes or materials as required by warehouse operations, within reasonable accommodation.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with warehouse staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset, able to identify issues in inventory processes and propose practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.46 per hour
