Cashier/Receptionist – Suburban Buick GMC of Troy

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. The schedule aligns with store hours:

• Monday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (late nights required)
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (must be willing to work Saturdays)
• One weekday off: Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on staffing needs

Pay

$14–$16 per hour
(Competitive for entry-level automotive roles. Based on experience and skill level.)

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; answer incoming calls and inquiries
• Direct calls and handle all customer payment/credit transactions
• Daily balancing and reconciling of cash office accounts and bank deposits
• Assist the Office Manager and/or General Manager with clerical tasks
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings
• Perform basic administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

As a Cashier/Receptionist, you must demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, and time‑management skills. We are seeking an upbeat, self‑starter who is detail‑oriented and has strong phone etiquette.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• 1–2 years of cashier or receptionist experience preferred
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry

High school diploma or equivalent and age 18 required.
