The QMS Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485). This role ensures that processes, documentation, and practices meet regulatory and customer requirements, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Experience with IATF 16949 system / Quality system / Customer or internal audit and part of time in IQC and SQE
- Follow up, monitor and supervise QMS requirements
- Total Quality Management, Implementation and Continuous Improvement
- Doing internal QMS/ Technical Audit being internal auditor, work with all section head for improvement.
- Manage & monitor training for all quality personnel for better quality.
- Experience IPQC product quality
- All types of Quality Metrics & KPI reporting
- Technical Files and Document Control
- Regular attendance by the employee is required to meet quality goals and customer commitments.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by the Engineer, Team Leader, or Quality Manager.
- Maintain and update QMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Plan and conduct internal audits; support external audits and certifications.
- Track and close non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Provide QMS training to employees and promote quality culture.
- Ensure proper understanding and implementation of QMS requirements across departments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, management reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare quality performance reports for management.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electronic field
- Self-motivation, dependability, and work with minimal direction
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Good organization and multi-tasking skills and excellent attention to detail
- May be required to lift 40lbs periodically.
- Must be able to work independently and safely at all times.
