The Successful candidates will handle the daily duty of quality control for power unit production/Assembly lines.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervises and leads team members that operate production tool, test machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
- Notifies maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
- Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
- Monitors output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals.
- Analyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work
- Lead the shift in proper manufacturing protocol, behavior, and quality practices. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Review and record all production documentation. Prepare regular reports and present performance updates to management.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols and practices. Ensure production operators complete required safety training and promote awareness of safe working practices across the production floor. Supervisors will lead by example when performing company duties.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement methodologies and recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product.
- Supervisor will perform manufacturing tasks as necessary to meet throughput goals including tool operation
- Participate in the implementation and roll-out of lean principles using 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban methods and tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and 4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment OR Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an ELECTRONICS manufacturing environment.
- Must have a proven ability to demonstrate leadership skills in a team environment.
- Must have sufficient oral and written communication skills to interact with subordinates and other Manufacturing direct or indirect personnel.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage workload.
- Must be flexible to change shifts and/or schedule due to changing business needs.
- Ability to learn and apply guest supply technology software and programs (i.e., Warehouse Management System).
- Bilingual a plus.
- Traveling to Taiwan or China for training

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
