What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Office Assistant position at Litchfield Hills Veterinary Hospital?
Litchfield Hills Veterinary Hospital is looking for full-time veterinary hospital assistant. This position will entail a combination of reception and pharmacy duties, cleaning and preparing rooms for appointments, and in general keeping a steady flow of traffic from the waiting room to the exam rooms. This is a physically active position and requires a self-motivated person who works well with others. Our team is close-knit, supportive of each other, and works well together. It is important that this applicant works well with our clients and their pets.
Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Pet care: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
- Animal handling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Animal restraint: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
