What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, Operating Room position at Litchfield Hills Surgery Center?
We are a small but growing surgery center in the beautiful Litchfield Hills. Ideal candidate will be able to circulate orthopedic, podiatry, and pain management cases. Able to work Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday every week, with the addition of a fourth day, (either Monday or Friday), in the future as our business grows. Work amongst a great team of professionals with no weekends, holidays, or call.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assist in the administration of anesthesia and monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to assess patient conditions and prepare for procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient assessments.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Current RN License
- Proficient in patient care and assessment
- Knowledge of EHR systems
- Experience in operating room environments
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
- Able to lift 40lbs
