Pay amp; Schedule
Pay: $20-$25/hour, based on experience and demonstrated welding proficiency
Bonus Eligible: Up to 20% bonus potential, paid bi-weekly and quarterly
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime opportunities as needed
Position Type: Hourly, Full-Time
What You'll Do
- Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Set up welding equipment, including jigs, gas pressure, wire speed, and amperage
- Complete welds according to quality, safety, and production standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy
- Measure and verify work using templates, straightedges, and other measuring tools
- Perform water-tight welds and occasional pipe welding up to 8 inches
- Remove weld splatter and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Move completed products to the next stage of the manufacturing process
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proven TIG and/or MIG welding experience on steel and/or aluminum
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand tolerances
- Ability to perform continuous welds up to 24 inches preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and work in a drug-free environment
