We are a vibrant Latin / Caribbean restaurant located in the heart of walnut creek. We opened in 2022 and are seeking to continue to grow our team.
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The Full Time Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work Full Time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm; or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm; of which includes Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables, meat and fish

Cook and present dishes according to Chef's specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels

Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management

Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned
Must be able to work Full Time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm; or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm; of which includes Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
Qualifications:

Must have a valid California Food Handlers Card
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and high level of organization and cleanliness

Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Basic math skills
Must be able to work Full Time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm; or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm; of which includes Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
