Role Description
This is an on-site, part-time role located in San Rafael, CA. The Office and Program Assistant will provide administrative and logistical support, manage program-related tasks, assist in coordinating events, and maintain communication with volunteers and care facilities. Responsibilities also include updating records, conducting research, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of LITA’s programs to fulfill its mission of building meaningful connections for seniors in the Marin community.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with volunteers, seniors, and community partners effectively
- Program management and organizational skills for managing events, schedules, and program processes
- Proficiency in administrative assistance tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and office organization
- Ability to conduct research to support program improvement and organizational objectives
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Experience with nonprofit organizations or working with seniors is a plus
- Proficiency with office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
