Lit & Loaded is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our front-of-house team.
The ideal candidate has excellent customer-service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers promptly and provide excellent customer service.
Accurately enter customer orders into the POS system.
Process cash, credit card, and other approved payments.
Monitor and process DoorDash and online orders.
Verify order accuracy before customer or delivery-driver handoff.
Communicate customer requests and order updates to kitchen staff.
Answer incoming telephone calls professionally.
Assist customers with menu questions and concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized register, dining area, and beverage station.
Restock cups, lids, bags, condiments, and other supplies.
Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
Follow cash-handling and register-security procedures.
Previous cashier or customer-service experience preferred.
Valid Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Weekend availability is required.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems preferred.
Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
